| Description: The I-9 Form must be completed for every new hire. The new hire must complete Section 1 on or before the first day of work. You may wish to have new hires complete the I-9 before their first day, when they complete the rest of the new hire paperwork. After the I-9 employment eligibility form is complete, be sure to review it and file it in a separate I-9 file, away from the employee's personnel file.
